About Atharva
Atharva Inamdar is an Indian author from Pune, Maharashtra, publishing The First Fifty from a body of 1,500+ books.
Born March 5, 1997, in Phulenagar, PCMC, Pune, Maharashtra. Started writing at age 10 when a house move cost him every friend he had — a diary became his only confidant. By 19, he'd invented his own writing method and published over 100 books. Today, he's authored more than 1,500+ books across every genre.
With over 44 million words written, he's now publishing The First Fifty — a curated inaugural release of 50 books from this vast archive.
The Full Story
The Beginning (2007)
At age 10, Atharva Inamdar's family moved from Phulenagar to Nigdi. He lost every friend he had. With no one to talk to, he started writing in a diary. Poetry first — to build vocabulary, influenced by his English teacher Gita Miss. Then stories. Then full books.
By 13, he'd written his first complete book, inspired by The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari. The writing wasn't a hobby. It was survival.
The Surgery (2012)
At 15, a bike accident led to brain surgery. In the hospital, recovering, he made a decision that would define everything: he said "Enough" — and the headaches stopped. Not through medicine. Through sheer force of will. That moment taught him something about the power of decision that would fuel the next decade of writing.
The Method (2016-2018)
By 19, Atharva had invented The Vomit Method — a writing approach so intense it defied all conventional advice. Write for 20 hours a day. For 15 days straight. Pour everything onto the page. Don't edit. Don't stop. Don't think. Just write.
The method produced results that seemed impossible: over 100 books published on Amazon KDP. Bestseller status in India, USA, and UK. Over ₹1 crore earned before age 25. Spirit Avatar alone ran to 587 pages.
The Betrayal (2018-2022)
Then Amazon blocked his account. ₹25 lakhs in royalties went unpaid. No explanation. No appeal. Just silence. He tried Draft2Digital — they rejected the catalog: "We are a small company for small authors."
For four years, 1,500+ books sat in the dark. Four years of the most prolific independent writing career in Indian history, completely invisible.
Father's Legacy
Much of his drive comes from his father, Ramesh Inamdar, whose vision for holistic well-being inspired the Sampurna Samruddhi series — five books spanning health, wealth, relationships, purpose, and spirituality. His belief that true prosperity encompasses every dimension of life is woven into the non-fiction work.
The Phoenix (2024-Present)
In 2024, AI technology made the impossible restart possible. The books could be structured, formatted, and published at scale. Atharva returned to college for a B.Com in Marketing — not because he needed a degree, but because understanding the business side would complete the picture.
In 2025, BogaDoga Ltd was registered as a UK private limited company. The Book Nexus was established as the Indian publishing entity. The infrastructure was being built — not on someone else's platform, but on his own.
In 2026, The First Fifty launched. 68 books went live — every chapter, every word, readable for free online. The largest personal book archive of any living Indian author was finally open to the world.
The story isn't over. It's just becoming visible.
